Leonard Mususa

Mr. Leonard Mususa was Country Leader of PricewaterhouseCoopers in Tanzania. He joined PricewaterhouseCoopers in 1978, having completed his accountancy education in the UK in 1977 and after a short stint as a lecturer at the Institute of Finance Management in Dar es Salaam.Since joining the firm Leonard has mainly been based in Tanzania, apart from the 2 years that he spent on secondment to the London Office between 1980 and 1982.

He was admitted as a partner in Tanzania, in October 1985 and in January 2001 he took over as Country Leader in Tanzania.Despite his country leadership role, he is an active assurance and business advisory services partner with a significant portfolio of clients.

Over the 25 years, Mususa has worked with clients in various sectors to address their needs. At different times, this has included supporting new investors in establishing their businesses in Tanzania, helping clients set up tax efficient corporate structures, supporting the privatisation of companies in various roles, including evaluation of their financial soundness and business valuations and guiding clients in accounting and financial control matters.
