Dear Esteemed Members,
Last year marked the end of our 3 year strategy and we are proud of our achievements in line with the four priority pillars; Engage, Policy, Ethics & Prosperity. Throughout the period we delivered more diverse and impactful leadership engagements even as we worked to navigate the new normal within our business operations.
We also recorded the largest membership growth in the organization’s history and strengthened our commitment to sustainable business practices. In light of the increasing urgency of the climate change agenda, we reaffirm our commitment to take the lead and hold business leaders accountable in driving climate action, especially now when new requirements for sustainable strategies are at a critical stage across the globe. Through the many changes delivered, 2021 has ingrained the skill of adaptability in us, and encouraged us to harness the power of partnership and collaboration as we strive for the common goal of Tanzania’s prosperity.
We are privileged to have the gift of choice, in that we can choose to move forward in the year ahead armed with the lessons learned, the inspiration gathered, and the foresight needed to prepare for the next one. Our organizational strategy for 2022 – 2025 revolves around the promise to do better in terms of promoting a sustainable and resilient future for all global citizens.. This is yet another choice we can make as we work to leave a lasting legacy.
