Mr. Nestory Dismas Silayo is a seasoned Power Systems Specialist with over 15 years of experience in electrical engineering, project implementation, and strategic infrastructure delivery across Tanzania’s industrial landscape. He is the Founder and Director of BV Engineering Ltd, a rapidly growing firm recognised for executing high-impact national infrastructure projects, including the maintenance of Julius Nyerere International Airport (JNIA) Terminal 3, the Tanzania National Internet Data Centre (NIDC), and Geita Gold Mine.

A certified Professional Engineer (ERB No. 3808), he brings deep technical expertise in power systems, electrical works, and electromechanical design, working across sectors such as energy, mining, telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, and manufacturing. Under his leadership, BV Engineering has built strategic partnerships with global leaders like ABB, Schneider Electric, and Hitachi Energy, and expanded its footprint to Geita, Zanzibar, and the Lake Zone.
