Legal
Terms & Conditions
These terms govern your use of this website, its published content, and the enquiry and application forms on it. Last updated August 2026.
1. About these terms
These terms govern your use of ceo-roundtable.co.tz, the website of the CEO Roundtable of Tanzania (CEOrt), a not-for-profit entity registered in Tanzania and operating from 439 Mahando Street, Masaki, Dar es Salaam. By using this website you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
2. Use of the website
You may browse this website, and read, print and download its content, for your own information and for legitimate business use. You may not use the site in any way that damages it, interferes with anyone else’s use of it, or breaches any applicable law. You may not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site, its systems or the platforms it links to.
3. Information on this site
CEOrt publishes this website in good faith and works to keep it accurate and current. Content is provided for general information: it is not professional, legal, financial or investment advice, and it should not be relied on as the sole basis for a business decision. Programme details, membership criteria, dates and figures may change, and the site may not reflect a change immediately.
4. Membership, programme and partnership submissions
Enquiry and application forms on this site — including membership enquiries, CAP applications and nominations, and partnership enquiries — are submissions for CEOrt’s consideration. Submitting one does not create membership, admission to a programme, or a partnership, and does not oblige CEOrt to accept it. You confirm that the information you submit is accurate and that you are entitled to submit it, including where it concerns another person you are nominating.
5. Intellectual property
The content of this website — text, photography, publications, graphics and the CEOrt name and logo — belongs to CEOrt or to its members, partners and contributors, and is protected by copyright and trade mark law. You may quote or cite published material with attribution to CEOrt. You may not reproduce, republish or use it commercially, or use the CEOrt name or logo, without written permission.
6. Member and alumni information
The member directory, board and Secretariat profiles, and CAP alumni pages publish professional information about named individuals with their organisations’ knowledge. This information is provided so that members and the public can identify who is in the Roundtable. It may not be extracted in bulk, compiled into a database, or used for marketing, recruitment or any other unsolicited contact.
7. Links and embedded content
This website links to other websites and embeds content hosted elsewhere, including CEOrt’s YouTube channel, Google Maps, and the CAP application portal and other CEOrt platforms. CEOrt does not control those services and is not responsible for their content, availability or practices. Your use of them is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
8. Availability
CEOrt aims to keep this website available but does not guarantee uninterrupted access. The site, or parts of it, may be unavailable for maintenance or for reasons outside CEOrt’s control, and content may be changed or withdrawn at any time without notice.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, CEOrt is not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of, or reliance on, this website or its content, or from any inability to access it. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
10. Privacy
Personal data submitted through this website is handled as described in the CEOrt Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania, and the courts of Tanzania have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them or from use of this website.
12. Changes and contact
CEOrt may update these terms from time to time; the current version is always the one published on this page. Questions about these terms should be directed to the CEOrt Secretariat at secretariat@ceo-roundtable.co.tz or +255 746 479 013.
