Omar Kiure

Eng. Omar Jumaam Kiure is the Managing Director and founder of Kiure Engineering Ltd. He holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from the University of Dar es Salaam and ESAMI respectively. He also holds a Certificate of Directorship (CiDir) from the Institute of Directors in Tanzania (IoDT). He is a registered Professional Engineer in Tanzania with over 20 years of experience in Construction.
In 2004, Omar established Kiure Engineering Ltd, which was named the best and fastest growing construction company in Tanzania in 2009. By 2012, Kiure Engineering was recognized as among the best-known construction companies in Tanzania. As of 2017, Kiure Engineering is a class 1 building company in Tanzania.
Omar is an Alumni of SIDA/SIPU Strategic Business Management program class of 2016. He is also an alumni of Stanford University SEED Transformation program. Omar also founded Meru Spring Water Ltd. In 2012 and not long after it was recognized as among the top 50 growing brands in Tanzania. In 2017 the company was recognized as the number 5 among the top 100 mid-sized companies in Tanzania.
