Jérôme Albou

Jérôme Albou is a seasoned telecom professional with extensive experience across Asia, Africa, and Latin America. He has led strategic technology projects, including the rollout of 4G, 5G, and fiber technology, and has spearheaded technology strategies in various emerging markets.
Currently, Jérôme serves as the Interim Chief Executive Officer of Tigo Tanzania, while also maintaining his role as Chief Technology and Information Officer (CTIO) of Axian Telecom Group. In his previous tenure as CTIO of Tigo Tanzania, he managed significant investments that led to major network expansions and enhancements in overall customer experience.
Jérôme holds an Executive MBA from Columbia Business School and London Business School, as well as a Master of Engineering in Telecommunications from Telecom SudParis and the Asian Institute of Technology.
