Peter Situmbeko Nalitolela

Mr. Peter Situmbeko Nalitolela is the Chief Executive Officer of the Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange and also serves as a Board Member of the CSD & Registry (CSDR) Company Ltd. He is a Certified Board Director and a seasoned finance professional with experiences in industry as well as academia; with years’ worth of work experiences in areas ranging from Capital Markets, Banking, Investments Management, Pension Fund Management, Power & Energy and Telecommunication.
Mr. Nalitolela is a thought leader, and he frequently gives trainings, talks, guest lectures and participates in panel discussions in both industry and academia. He is a holder of BSc. (Hons) in Mathematics with a Minor in Computer Science from Trent University (Canada) and MSc. in the Applications of Modelling, also obtained from Trent.

Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange
It was incorporated in September 1996 and trading started in April 1998. It is a member of the African Stock Exchanges Association and the World Federation of Exchanges. The exchange is open five days a week, from Monday through Friday. The trading days are weekly from Monday to Friday, starting from 10.00 am to 14.00 pm.
