Education: Shekhar Kanabar completed his high school diploma at Aiglon College, Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Management from Babson College – Massachusetts. He is an effective team leader and a motivator for achieving tremendous levels of success. Currently, he is pursuing his EMBA from IMD business school in Switzerland to further develop his management skills.

Achievements: At the age of 34, he was the President of Young Presidents Organization (YPO) and the Honorary Consul of Lithuania. He is also the Chairman of Global Dignity in Tanzania. In 2017 he had an interview with Forbes to talk about the Group’s mission and vision and how he runs this 50 year old family business in the country, He regularly appears in local publications in Tanzania.

Management: Shekhar Kanabar is the CEO and majority stakeholder of Synarge Group of Companies. The Group interest lies in a wide range of activities from trading of automotive spare parts for heavy trucks (Brakes Tanzania Limited), Recycling of Batteries (Gaia Eco Solutions (T) Limited), Logistic solutions (Petpaul General Holdings Limited) Labor Law management (HR Solutions), Network optimization for telecom operators (Metrotel Synarge Tanzania Limited, Metrotel Synarge Zambia Limited and Metrotel Synarge Rwanda Limited). His global network keeps him updated with various economic changes internationally along with strategies and business policy within the organization to improve business efficiency.

Team Leader: He is heading an effective workforce of over 200 people within the organization. He has a strong drive and is self-confident, having quick decision-making skills, is an effective communicator and motivator which drives the businesses to further succeed in the right direction.
