An innovative thinker and a very knowledgeable trade and development expert with 15 years of experience in strategic leadership & governance, planning and implementation of trade facilitation initiatives in the East African region, and delivering revolutionary solutions in partnership with Ministries and agencies from the public sector, and the private sector. A results-driven individual with a strong delivery record; experienced in strategic networking, fundraising, and donor and stakeholder management.
Currently working with TradeMark Africa (TMA), an aid-for-trade organisation that supports growth and prosperity in Africa through increased trade, as the Regional Director responsible for East and Central African country programmes. Leading and managing the delivery of programmes in Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Democratic Republic of Congo, Burundi and South Sudan.
A dynamic leader with experience in strategy development, team management, and managing political dynamics and engagements for robust programming and delivery. Also, very instrumental towards informed decision-making with strong problem-solving skills.
