Ms. Hadija Jabiri Pheri
Ms. Hadija Jabiri is a visionary Tanzanian entrepreneur and certified director, widely recognised for her transformative work in the agriculture and agribusiness sectors. She is the Founder and Managing Director of GBRI Business Solutions (EATFRESH), a company dedicated to sustainable horticultural production, value addition, and export—working directly with over 10,000 smallholder farmers across six regions in Tanzania and Burundi.
Beyond GBRI, Hadija also founded Agriedo Limited, an agriculture service and incubation hub empowering youth through mentorship, access to markets, finance, and policy advocacy. Her leadership and impact have earned her numerous awards, including the Women in Agribusiness Excellence Award, UNCTAD’s EMPRETEC finalist recognition, and the GroWe Award for Sub-Saharan Africa.
Hadija serves on several public and private sector boards and advisory committees, including the Tanzania Fertiliser Regulatory Authority, ASPIRES Tanzania, and CARE International Tanzania. She is also a key contributor to youth empowerment and policy reform initiatives under platforms such as the African Women Leaders Network (AWLN).

GBRI gets produce from its own farms located in Iringa Region and from contracted smallholder farmers (Out growers). We support farmers with technical trainings, extension services, input loans, handling equipment and transport services. With these support, we guarantee produce quality from smallholder farmers and compliance with International standards. (Global G.A.P and Food safety standards). Out growers program has helped the company to ensure consistence in supply.
