The CEO Roundtable of Tanzania hosted an engagement themed “LNG in Focus: Catalyzing Transformation to 2050” which explored LNG’s role in driving industrial development, socio-economic development impact, inter-sectoral collaborations, and energy security in alignment with Tanzania’s Vision 2050.
As discussions around the LNG project continue, members of the CEO Roundtable of Tanzania (CEOrt) emphasized the importance of the private sector remaining agile and prepared to participate in this initiative. The conversation was led by Mr. Menno Bax, Managing Director of Shell Exploration and Production Tanzania Limited, and Mr. Manzi Rwegasira, Chief Executive Officer of Stanbic Bank Tanzania Limited and moderated by Mr. Ivan Tarimo, Co-founder and Partner at Bankable Tanzania Limited who together, guided the discussion on the socio-economic impact of the LNG project and highlighted key initiatives the private sector should consider in preparation for its implementation.
