Leonard Kitoka
Managing Director
Leonard is Managing Director of INNOVEX and director responsible for business development working particularly in the areas of outsourcing, financial management, procurement, strategic planning and programme development. He is a qualified accountant (CPA), an Accredited European Excellence Assessor and a Certified Project Manager.
With over 20 years of consultancy experience in the Great Lakes region, he has gained extensive experience in conducting a wide range of assignments for governments and for donors such as WB, UNDP, JICA, FAO, DFID, USAID, DANIDA, EC, etc; Leonard’s consulting experience covers strategy, procurement, audit, human resources management, financial management, socio-economic and public policy research and organisational development. He has previously worked for UNDP, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Afro Aid Development Consultants and Coopers and Lybrand.
Most of his assignments have been carried out in Tanzania, Rwanda, Kenya, Southern Sudan and Uganda. He speaks Kiswahili, English, his Kinyarwanda is basic. Leonard is a Member to National Board of Accountants and Auditors (NBAA) – Tanzania, Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, Institute of Directors in Tanzania and British Quality Foundation.
