Mr. Dario is a Licensed Mechanical Engineer and a lifetime member of the Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers (PSME), with over 35 years of progressive experience in plastic pipe manufacturing and factory management across Asia and the Middle East. Demonstrated expertise in establishing and scaling manufacturing operations, from factory design and equipment procurement to commissioning and full-scale production. Highly skilled with strong cross-functional leadership in production, quality control, HSE, HR, logistics, procurement, technical sales and engineering. Proficient in identifying inefficiencies, carrying out process improvements, and well-versed in the implementation and compliance of international standards such as ISO 9001 (QMS), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety). Additionally, a recognized expert in developing and implementing ISO 50001-compliant Energy Management Systems (EnMS), focusing on continuous improvement in energy efficiency and cost optimization across factory operations. After a successful career in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, Dario transitioned to Africa in November 2024 to join Plasco Limited as the new General Manager. He brought with him extensive expertise in manufacturing, a distinctive leadership style, and a visionary thinking approach. His focus on innovation and strategic expansion is set to elevate Plasco Ltd. to new heights in operational excellence and market presence.

Founded in 1992 by four Tanzanian businessmen, Plasco Ltd. officially commenced operations in 1993.
The first of its products, drinking straws, were produced with a single refurbished extruder. Through steady growth, the company was able to move to a larger site at its current location on Mbozi Road.
