SEACOM, which was launched in 2009, is Africa’s first broadband submarine cable system. It is a privately owned and operated company that operates at scale and has a presence in 8 countries. SEACOM provides managed services to businesses, network carriers, service providers, and enterprises. These services include creating, implementing, and managing networks across various infrastructure solutions. Additionally, SEACOM offers a wide range of voice, managed networks, security, cloud, and server hosting products. The company operates extensive ICT data infrastructure, which includes multiple subsea cables, a continent-wide IP network, and several regional networks in our geographic markets. SEACOM’s comprehensive Fibre Network spans 35,000km of submarine cables, 3,700kms of long haul cables, and 1,500kms of metro fibre. They also have Wireless Networks in the Gauteng and Cape Town metro areas.
