Benedict Busunzu

Benedict Busunzu has extensive experience managing mining operations, having spent over twelve years working in senior roles within the industry, ten of which were spent working in Tanzania. Prior to joining Tembo Nickel, Benedict was the General Manager for Twiga Minerals Corporation (Barrick Gold Corporation’s partnership with the Government of Tanzania), where he oversaw the Bulyanhulu and Buzwagi Mines.
Having held previous Commercial roles as General Manager as well as Commercial Manager, Benedict brings strategic expertise in multinational team leadership, cultural transformation, asset value creation, vision and strategic planning, board relations, investor relations and high stakes government and community relations. Benedict has multinational work experience and education in Tanzania, South Africa, UK and Australia
