According to the African Development Bank’s (AfDB), Tanzania’s medium-term economic outlook remains positive with projected growth at 6.6% for 2019 and 2020. Whilst the Private Sector remains critical to contributing to this projected economic growth, the World Bank’s Ease of Doing Business Index currently ranks Tanzania as 144th out of 190 economies. Furthermore, Tanzania has been slipping for the past few years with the current positioning down several points from 137th in 2018 and 125th in 2010.
