Strengthening Public-Private Dialogue on Tax Administration

The CEO Roundtable of Tanzania (CEOrt) held a member engagement themed “Strengthening Public–Private Dialogue on Tax Administration.” Graced by Hon. Yusuph J. Mwenda, Commissioner General of the Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA), as Guest of Honour and Keynote Speaker, the session brought together senior government officials, CEOrt members, and tax experts to discuss strengthening tax administration, enhancing collaboration, and identifying reform priorities to support investment and growth. The dialogue emphasized the importance of transparent, predictable, and fair tax systems in promoting investor confidence and sustainable development, reaffirming CEOrt’s role in advancing evidence-based public–private collaboration as Tanzania progresses toward its Development Vision 2050.
